Industry Focus: Human Resource Technology

SSPR’s initial strategy focused on promoting Nobscot’s line of HR technology software while branding CEO Beth N. Carvin as a leader in the HR space. Targets included both national press as well as publications within the human resources vertical market. The campaign was a success, with SSPR placing articles in top-tier publications such as the New York Times and Wall Street Journal as well as many others within the HR vertical market.

Nobscot was pleased with the overall campaign, but noticed that the number of sales leads received from the trade publications was significantly higher than the sales leads received from the national coverage that SSPR secured.

Armed with this information, SSPR shifted gears, focusing outreach on the HR space with innovative pitch angles on everything HR related- from mentoring to exit interviews. Four months after the PR shift, Nobscot had received 17 trade articles, 10 trade byline opportunities, and 12 mainstream industry expert articles- all helping to increase Nobscot’s ROI.

SSPR was effective in targeting our PR outreach to help maximize Nobscot’s public relations budget, helping to increase sales leads. Today Nobscot is enjoying its status as a leader in the human resources space.
