Craig Astler’s skills in writing, campaign development and messaging strategy have benefited hundreds of clients over a career that has spanned both advertising and public relations. Before joining SSPR, Craig spent 20 years as an advertising agency writer and creative director in Chicago and Cleveland, earning top awards from the industry’s elite creative organizations including the CLIOs, the ADDYs, the One Club for Art and Copy, and the New York Art Directors Club. Also founder of two marketing communications firms, Craig is a summa cum laude graduate of the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University. He is an avid cross-country bicyclist and sings with the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus.
