Mark your calendars: RSA 2007 sneaks in a week earlier …

The hottest tradeshow in IT security is just around the corner (February 5th-9th) and like every year SS|PR is able to assist numerous new clients in their quest for prominent visibility. Our clients have made it easy for us with some really cool stuff - from password defense to high-end forensics, email anti-theft, even open-sourced protection will makes its debut at this year. We again also have several clients up for specific honors during the SC Magazine sponsored Awards Dinner.

Personally, this will be my 7th year attending the show and I am excited to witness the continued evolution of not only the event itself but the industry as whole. Larry Ellison and Bill Gates make their usual appearances but also expect a new keynote delivered by none other than Former Secretary of State Colin Powell.

As the event continues to grow in popularity, new strategies and tactics are needed to jumpstart a successful PR campaign. Media and analyst’s schedules have become more elusive as attendance continues to grow each year so SS|PR was off to an early start in ‘07 with some new, creative approaches. Will we prevail? Will our clients continue to have a triumphant experience like years past? Will Bill Gates continue his promise for a secure utopian IT environment?
